Wheelers Driving School is a well-established professional and friendly driving school. We have been teaching the residents of Greenwich SE10 and South East London and have been teaching how to drive since 1984, and we are proud that we have been able to help so many learner drivers in getting their full licence and putting them on the road to success. We are still able to offer affordable, tailored driving lessons today, to suit your needs and requirements.

Teach you to be a SAFE AND CONFIDENT DRIVER
We provide one-to-one lessons in Greenwich and the South East London area. When you sign up with us, you will be given a choice of a male or female driving Instructor.
All of our driving instructors are highly experienced and specialise in catering the driving lessons to your ability. It doesn’t matter if you have never driven a car before in your life, we will be there for you every step of the way.
Over the years we have taught complete novices, intermediate learners (with some driving experience) and likewise for those who need to refresh their skills as a consequence of failing a driving test or due to practicing again after some time off from learning.

FLEXIBLE AND TAILORED lessons FOR YOU
Over the first few driving lessons, we will work out a training programme tailored especially for you. The programme will be specifically created to suit your needs and ability.
Our driving lessons are flexible and we can arrange a suitable time to pick you up from your home, work or college in the Greenwich or South East London area.
If you are wanting a learning experience that fits into a week or less, we also offer intensive courses that run from 1-2 days to 6-7 days. This can be helpful if you have just failed a test, or are near to test standard but need a little more tuition to get get test ready.
If you have no experience at all behind the wheel hen we recommend you have a few driving lessons before starting your course, even if you choose the 6-7 day course.

THEORY TEST
First of all, before you can do your practical test, you will have to pass your Theory Test.
It’s better for you to be prepared for your theory test and to use the material suggested. For more information click here to visit our Theory and Practical Tests page.
Furthermore, if you have not done your Theory test, this is not a problem. You do not have to do your Theory test to start driving lessons. The reason for this is that we find pupils have a better understanding of the Theory and the Highway Code, once they have started learning how to drive.
We do not book the Theory Test for you.
DRIVING TEST
You’re driving instructor will advise you when to book your practical test.
The reason for this is that we do not take anyone for a practical test, if you are not ready.
furthermore, we do not just teach to pass your practical test, but to teach you the skill and the ability to drive safely for life.
